Questions
The things people actually ask
If yours is not here, ask us. We would rather answer it now than have you guess.
Booking & logistics
How do we book you?
Send us your date through the contact form. If we are free, we will talk through what you are planning, then send a contract and take a deposit to hold the date. The date is not held until both of those are done, we do not hold dates informally, because it is not fair to the next couple who asks.
Are you insured? Can you send our venue a certificate?
Yes, we are insured. If your venue has requirements on the insurance side, mention it when you get in touch and we will talk through exactly what they need.
How far do you travel?
All of Greater New England, with international travel by request. There is no mileage cut-off within New England: a wedding on the Cape or in Vermont is treated the same as one in Boston. For destination weddings further afield, ask and we will talk about it.
Can you cover a wedding at two different venues?
Yes. A ceremony in one place and a reception in another is common, and it mostly comes down to planning the gap properly. We will either run two setups or build the timeline around a move, depending on the distance.
The music
Can we give you a must-play list? A do-not-play list?
Please do. Both are useful, and the do-not-play list is often more useful. Around 15–20 must-plays gives us a clear sense of your taste and leaves us room to read the room and fill in around it. If you want to send a longer list, that is fine too.
Do you take requests from guests?
By default yes, filtered through what you have told us. If you would rather we take none, say so and we will politely deflect everything. It is your night and either answer is a completely normal one.
Do you play clean or explicit versions?
Clean versions by default. Weddings usually have grandparents and children in the room. If you would rather we use originals, tell us and we will.
What if a song we want is obscure or not on streaming?
Tell us early and we will find it or source it. If it genuinely does not exist in a usable quality, we would rather tell you months out than have you discover it on the night.
On the day
Does our DJ also MC?
Yes, and it is the same person. Introductions, first dances, toasts, cake cutting, and any other moment you want announced. You are not booking two people.
Do you bring backup equipment?
Yes, for every major component: a second laptop, a spare mixer, a spare speaker, cables, and your music mirrored on a separate device. You should never hear about any of it, which is the point of carrying it.
Money
What does it cost?
Our 2027 wedding packages start at $2,400, and every price is published on the wedding pricing page rather than hidden behind a form. What moves the number is how many spaces need sound, how long we are there, the date, and what you add. Send us your details and we will come back with a real figure for your night.
Can we add hours on the night?
Usually yes, if the venue allows it. Extra time is charged at an hourly rate agreed in your contract, so there is never a surprise.
