Privacy policy

The short version

Sonify Productions collects the details you type into our enquiry forms so we can reply to you. We do not sell them, we do not use advertising trackers, and this website sets no cookies for visitors. If you want what we hold about you corrected or deleted, ask and we will do it.

What we collect

When you send an enquiry, we keep what you give us: your name, email address, phone number if you add it, the date and venue of your event, roughly how many guests, the services you are interested in, and anything you write in the message box. We also record which page of this site you sent the enquiry from, so we know which pages are useful.

Like every website, our hosting provider keeps short-lived technical logs of requests, including the internet address they came from. We use these only to keep the site running and to block abuse.

Why we collect it

To answer you, to check whether we are free on your date, to prepare a quote, and, if you book, to plan and deliver your event. That is the whole list.

Where it lives

Enquiries are stored in a database hosted by Railway in the United States. Copies reach us by email, which runs on Google Workspace. Contracts are signed through JotForm. Each of these companies processes the data on our behalf and under its own privacy terms.

Cookies and analytics

This website sets no cookies for visitors. To understand how the site is used, we use PostHog, configured without cookies and without storing anything on your device. On a few pages, such as pricing and the contact page, it records an anonymised replay of how the page is used: where the pointer moves, what is scrolled, and what is tapped. Anything typed into a form is masked and never recorded. The only cookies the site uses are sign-in cookies for our own staff dashboard and for trade partners who log in to the rental portal. We run no advertising scripts.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiries and booking records for as long as we need them to run the business and meet our own record-keeping obligations. If you would like your details removed sooner, ask.

Your choices

You can ask us at any time to show you what we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. Use the contact form and tell us what you would like done. We do not share or sell personal information to third parties for their own marketing.

Children

This site is intended for adults planning events. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it. Questions go through the contact form.
